Blogs and Facebook

It struck me as really interesting that when I'm blogging, people never leave comments on the blog.

Instead I get Facebook messages on my wall, private facebook messages or messages sent directly to my email address. All about things that I've blogged about.

Why is that?

It's not like any of the comments are private or offensive or anything like that. Surely it doesn't take a second to leave a comment on the actual blog right?

I mean, I don't mind - I was just wondering. And I find it interesting that people choose to give feedback on Facebook instead.

Anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks for all the comments by the way!!

xx

Actually, leaving comments on blogspot.com is subconsciously annoying. to just write this, I have to click on the "comments" thing on the bottom, open up a new page, and then type something in for word verification below.

Something about facebooks interface makes it feel less like a chore, it really does. If you wrote a note, for example, I can comment on it right away w/o having to navigate away from the page. Now they're even opening it up so that you can comment on things from the main page. It's all ease of use, and for most who don't use blogspot it's just not as intuitive.

That's my 2 cents, anyway.

Peace.
